GHOne’s Television News Editor, Nana Aba Anamoah seems to have bitten more than she could chew when a tweet that sought to disagree with the construction of a 450-seater parliamentary chamber, exposed her ignorance about the north incurring the wrath of a section of them.
The Broadcast Journalist by her tweet made it appear as though residents from the north compete with cattle at streams for drinking water wondering why lawmakers from the area will defend the construction of a new parliamentary chamber worth $200 million.
She said in the tweet “Go to the North and see how people are drinking from streams with cattle. Yet MPs from that area think a new chamber is what is necessary? If you don’t agree speak up. Else you don’t deserve this position and respect if you believe the construction should go ahead”
Her tweet did not sit down well with indigenes of the north who could not help but cut her into size with some very unprintable adjectives challenging her to find out if same is not the situation in parts of Accra and other cities.
