Newcastle United are hailing their Ghanaian midfielder Christian Atsu as their best player on the afternoon during their 2-0 defeat to Tottenham in the English Premier League on Sunday.
The winger was the stand-out performer for the Magpies as they lost their first match in their return to the English top-flight after playing in the Championship last term.
Tottenham made a winning start to the 2017-18 Premier League season as 10-man Newcastle endured a difficult return to the top flight.
The Magpies, promoted as winners of the Championship last term, had captain Jonjo Shelvey sent off early in the second half for standing on Dele Alli.
The Spurs attacker then put his side ahead with a close-range finish before Ben Davies finished off a neat move for Tottenham's second.
But the fans of the English side Newcastle hailed their Ghanaian player Atsu who was immense in attacking the Spurs.

Newcastle have struggled to get much going, but Atsu has managed to look pretty impressive. Guile paired with pace, runs at his defender.
