Nigeria has confirmed four additional cases of coronavirus, bringing the total to 12.
Health Minister Osagie Ehanire said on Thursday that the four new patients, from Lagos state, were stable and being treated.
Two of the new cases are people who travelled from the UK and France, while the third is a contact of a positive case. The last patient has no history of travel to high-risk countries.
The minister tweeted his statement:
Today, Nigeria recorded 4 new cases of #COVID19, the total no. of cases confirmed is 12. The cases were confirmed by @LUTHOfficial, the patients are all clinically stable.
