Okuapemman Association of USA and Canada (OKUSACA) 2011 Annual Mid-year Delegates Meeting at Newark, NJ.
The Memorial Day holiday is approaching and once again it is time for the family of Okuapemman Association of USA and Canada (OKUSACA) to have their Annual Mid-Year Delegates meeting. This meeting will be held at Newark, New Jersey from Friday, May 27-29th, 2011.
The National Secretariat, wishes to bring to the attention of all Chapters of the Association as well as the general public that, delegates and observers for this auspicious meeting are to arrive on Friday, May 27th, 2011 and check into their rooms before7:00pm
The Mid-Year meeting of delegates and observers has a paramount objective of formulating, discussing and establishing policies for implementation by the supreme body of the National Council of the Association. It is therefore imperative and obligatory for all chapters to be adequately represented for the deliberations.

The keynote address will be delivered by Mr. Godwin Larbi, the in-coming National Coordinating Chairman from Washington DC Chapter. Most important discussions at the meeting will include update on the recent renovations made by the Association at the Pediatric Unit of Tetteh Quarshie Memorial Hospital at Mampong-Akuapem in Ghana; Dallas 2011 National Conference to evaluate the on-going peace process of Chiefs at Akuapem and the implementation of our Technological Complex Center at Akuapem.
Okuapemman Association of USA and Canada (OKUSACA), founded in 1985, has its main objectives as promoting unity among citizens of Akuapem, Akwamu, Anum and Boso Traditional Areas; Community Service; Educational and embarking on new and on-going projects in these Traditional Areas.
The seat of the Organization is at New York, where we celebrated our Silver Jubilee Anniversary in a grand and flamboyant style in September last year.
