One of the 12 persons who have been declared wanted by the police for their alleged roles in the shooting incident at the National Democratic Congress (NDC) Regional Secretariat in Kumasi, Samuel Agyin aka ROCK has revealed that he is innocent and played no role in the dastardly act.

In an interview with Kumasi-based Pure Fm monitored by MyNewsGh.com, ROCK who is a barber by profession at Ahwiaa Pankrono disclosed that he is not part of the HAWKS squad alleged to have carried the dastardly action.

According to him, the police know the one who carried the act wondering why his name was added among the list of wanted persons revealing that one Warrior is responsible because he (ROCK) had no confrontation with anyone at the party headquarters.

“I am the one whose image has been added among the list of wanted person. The incident did not happen in the night so that police will say they do not know him. Warrior is the one who committed the act why add my name which resulted in the collapse of my mum”, he revealed on the show.

“The Police knows the shooter, Warrior. He is the suspect so why add my name? The fight was between Warrior and deceased Wassiu. I will report to the police station today and let them know that I’m not part. My mom collapsed upon seeing my pictures among the wanted list. I was there as a party member just like everyone but was nowhere close to where the fight ensued. I will never involve myself in any party activity again. I’m not even going to vote again.’

Rock who is a member of the NDC taskforce disclosed that he will concentrate on his work as a barber and forget indulging in party activities henceforth just to have his peace of mind.

Twelve persons including Hussein Bari alias Warrior, Midjima, Damos, Abu Taliban, Sanni Mohamed alias Commando, Wayo, Element, Jah Rule as well as Petit, Akon, Fayiz, Mallam and ‘Rock have been declared wanted following Monday’s shooting incident that resulted in the death of one person and the injuring of another said to be in critical condition at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital (KATH).
