Responsible women deserve to be honoured and appreciated because of the significant roles they play in the lives of their respective families and societies, Mrs Josephine A. Wise, Leader of the women’s fellowship of Bless Chapel International (BCI), Kasoa has said.
She stated that the contributions of women towards the development of wherever they found themselves must not be underrated but rather applauded because “women are great influencers and game changers.”
Mrs Wise made these assertion when BCI celebrated the women’s ministry of the church on Sunday as part of activities to mark the mothers’ day celebration.
The children’s department of BCI were also not left out as they also joined the service with surprises for women in the church.
The atmosphere was evidently filled with love, as all the women in the church were elated at the level of love shown them.
Mrs Wise, who was given the opportunity to Minister to the church indicated in her sermon that it was very important for women to be prayerful and make themselves available at all times to their families, especially their children and whoever has been put in their care.
She also urged women not to give up on God but rather persistently put their requests before the almighty and he will grant them what they desire.
According to her, being a mother was not an easy task and it is only the grace and mercy of God that can strengthen an individual to carry out her motherly responsibility flawlessly.
“A mother’s love is pure, it is not only those who have biological children who deserve to be called mothers, but whoever has motherhood tendencies and shows love to any person put in her care also deserves honour. I say ayeekoo to all good women, may the blessings of God never elude you,” Mrs Wise added.
The world, she said was in perilous times, therefore there was the need for prayer to be prioritised in all endeavours.
She also advised mothers to be mindful of what they tell their wards especially when they are angry, saying “words are powerful so instead of insulting or cursing your children, speak life and success unto their lives or remain quiet until tempers come down.”
