Nchiraa (B/A), May 28, GNA - Nana Yaw Osei Agyei, National Democratic Congress (NDC) parliamentary candidate for Wenchi East has called on party supporters to rise up to fight the economic hardship Ghanaians are currently facing.

He said, an NDC government would not sit down to allow such suffering to come upon Ghanaians, but rather would implement better economic management to salvage the situation.

"This the NDC will do when the people of Ghana give us the nod in this year's December elections," he said.

Nana Yaw Agyei made the assertion when interacting with NDC faithful at separate meetings at Drobo, Awisa, Koase, Abofaraye, Beposo, Nkonsia, Koase, Tromeso, Subinso, Yoyoanno and Nchiraa all in the Wenchi East District.

The visit was to fraternize with the party members, lay structures, form polling station executives, and set up a unified campaign team for the up-coming December general elections.

Nana Yaw Agyei appealed to party supporters to exhibit high sense of maturity and tolerance as the electioneering campaigns heated up. He noted that the practice where people of opposing political divides see each other as enemies was not helpful and asked NDC supporters to only stick to adopt approach that would not trigger confrontations with other party supporters. Mr Hakin Dauda, the party Constituency Secretary said, Nana Yaw Agyei's frequent interactions with the people coupled with the numerous promises he had made, demonstrated his capability to raise the living standards of the people when giving the nod. He urged members not to be discouraged by the growing economic hardship, but rather learned to share with others the little that they have.
