It’s obvious Ghana and Nigeria may NEVER agree on certain things especially as to who has the best jollof or who does the best highlife music but one thing is certain and can never be changed, the two countries remain West African neighbours forever.
Yes, after several years of battling it out on Ghanaian soil, Ghana Meets Naija, a musical platform that sees the best of both countries in terms of music battle it is moving to a neutral turf, the UK.
Scheduled for Friday, August 25 2017 at The O2 Peninsula Square, the headline artists for the event have already been announced and it’s none other than controversial Ghanaian dancehall artist Shatta Wale and fellow dancehall artist from Nigeria Burna Boy.
The two who remain close friends and have worked on projects before would have to face each as they battle it out for their respective countries.
Other artists are yet to be announced.
Tickets for the event go on sale from July 14 2017.
