St. John’s Hospital and Fertility Centre has been honoured with the ‘Healthcare Provider of the Year’ award at the 8th Ghana Business Awards, held on Friday, October 24, 2025, at the Kempinski Gold Coast Hotel in Accra.

The prestigious awards ceremony, recognised as Ghana’s foremost platform for celebrating excellence, innovation, and transformative impact across industries, acknowledged the hospital for its outstanding healthcare delivery and contribution to national development.

St. John’s Hospital was commended for its dedication to providing comprehensive clinical, diagnostic, and surgical services — including general medicine, internal medicine, ENT, home care, ophthalmology, and obstetrics and gynaecology.

According to the awarding board, the facility’s state-of-the-art imaging and laboratory systems enable it to function as a one-stop healthcare centre, delivering specialised and auxiliary services tailored to the needs of patients.

This year’s event was held under the theme: “Creative Economy Revolution through Innovation: Redefining Ghana’s GDP Landscape.”

Reacting to the honour, Afia Sarfo, Head of Procurement at St. John’s Hospital and Fertility Centre, expressed appreciation to the organisers and the hospital’s staff and clients.
