SarkCess Music boss, Sarkodie, on behalf of Ghanaian musicians has kindly asked Ghanaian bloggers who own blogs mainly or partially for music to stop uploading songs for free downloads, but rather, they should share links to the song on paid sites.
According to him, it shoudn’t be the case where musicians will pay to do music and earn nothing from it. It isn’t right, musicians have to earn from their music, just like he’s doing.
Taking to his Facebook page, the legend wrote: “I know sometimes these free sites help push records but can you guys please allow artistes make some money??? Atleast give them a week God!! Just push links of paid platform links from you sites, you do not lose s#$
Let artist eat…….”
He also asked music lovers to stop downloading free sites, aleast their superstars’ve got to earn from their music, so they should adopt the practice of downloading songs at paid sites.
