There is nothing to be happy about Independence Day – Yvonne Nelson

Ace Ghanaian actress, Yvonne Nelson has opined that there is actually no cause to be happy about Ghana’s independence day.

In a post on Instagram she vehemently expressed her disapproval of the conventional independence day wishes that flood social media every 6th March.

According to her, there is no cause to be happy about Ghana’s purported independence because the country was sold ages ago. She stated that she is only happy for life amid blaming the leaders and the citizenry for failing the nation daily.

Happy independence day?? Are you a happy Ghanaian? So much i wanna say but maybe some other time! Theres really nothing to be happy about! Im just thankful for life! As for ghana, we the people and leaders fail her daily! We sold our country ages ago!
