Trump's victory has given me more vim – Edward Mahama
Flagbearer of the People's National Convention (PNC), Dr. Edward Mahama say his inclusion in the presidential race is a sign of victory.
According to him, his disqualification was part of God's plan to prepare him very for the battle just few weeks to the December 7 general elections.
“I would have lost the election in 2012 if I had contest. God’s time is the best and he knows what he’s doing. I have told Ghanaians I am not walking by sight but by faith. The disqualification portrays God’s will for my life and he gave me a message for Ghanaians even out of this difficulty” he said.
He added that “The message is that I have been campaigning since 2004 for God to strengthen Ghana’s institutions. And he did by the challenge he threw to the EC and the Judiciary pertaining to the Elections”.
Dr. Edward Mahama further confirmed the president-elect of United States of America, Donald John Trump gave him a lot of inspiration in the Ghana’s December polls as the victor.
“Donald Trump has never been in politics but upon his first contest he won. God did it for him and it is likely he will do it for me too to win this presidential election by turning the heart of Ghanaians towards my party massively.” he stated.
