The officers were attacked by family members and neighbors of suspects they were tasked to arrest

Two Police officers at the Ayi Mensah Police Station sustained injuries after they were allegedly attacked at Teiman in the Greater Accra Region.
The cops had been tasked to go and arrest a man accused of fraud but the family members and neighbours of the suspect attacked them with sticks and other objects.
One of the Policemen was hit in the head and was left with a big cut.
Police say the suspects and his son are currently in police custody.
