Management of the University of Cape Coast (UCC) has sent a strong warning to students who engaged in a Saturday dawn fight between Atlantic Hall and Oguaa Hall that they will be brought to book.
The fight led to some students injured and several property vandalised.
In a statement issued on Saturday, authorities condemned the act in no uncertain terms and announced that investigations have already been initiated.
“Management wishes to state unequivocally that all perpetrators would be brought to book and dealt with appropriately,” the statement issued by the Registrar said.
Meanwhile, students, staff and the university community has been urged “to remain calm while due processes are followed to bring the perpetrators to book”.
A student had earlier told 3news.com that some students were arrested by police on Saturday in connection with the violence.
Those injured were also receiving treatment.
“I am scared,” the Level 200 student told 3news.com. “I have not seen such an incident before.”
