Deportivo Alaves midfielder Mubarak Wakaso will join Ghana for Thursday's friendly with Iceland after earlier pulling out, media reports say.The former Villarreal enforcer, together with Torino man Afriyie Acquah, failed to travel as the Black Stars left Accra last Saturday for the double-header of friendlies against Japan and Iceland due to grievances over a slash in appearance fee.
Without the two men, who were present for non-residential training before the team's departure, the Black Stars held their own to register a 2-0 away triumph against the Samurai Blue in Yokohama.
Atletico Madrid star Thomas Teye Partey and Levante sensation Emmanuel Boateng scored to ensure the win.
Ahead of the June 7 fixture against World Cup-bound Iceland, 442gh reports that Wakaso has had a change of mind and will, thus, link up with Kwesi Appiah's outfit for Thursday fixture.
Acquah, likewise, has made himself available. Reports say the 26-year-old changed his mind just after the team left Accra for Japan, making unsuccessful efforts to join the team later before the game.
He is also set to link up with the squad in Iceland.
The double-header is part of Ghana's preparations for the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers in September.
