A shocking revelation has been made by a mortuary attendant on how the wastewater collected after bathing dead bodies at the morgue are sold to some high profiled Ghanaian pastors for GH¢7000.

According to the morgue attendant in an interview with Atinka TV, the water from the remains of dead people deposited at the various hospitals in Ghana are on high demand and a such it’s a cash cow at most mortuaries in Ghana.

The attendant explained that the pastors buy these waters for their rituals to perform their miracles and since they (Mortuary attendants) are not well paid, it’s one of their main source of revenue.

The insider who made this revelation stated that some families prefer to wash their dead relatives at the mortuary before taking them home for burial.

Because of that, the attendants squeeze the water they bath the dead people into bottles and sell them to people who need them whom most are pastors.

“Some people prefer to bath their corpse at the mortuary. So when the attendants mop up the wet floor, they squeeze the dirty water into containers which they keep and sell to some pastors,” the morgue attendant said.
