While Asantehene is Toying With Your People?
The people of Kumawu, Nkwanta, Woraso, Bodomase Wonoo, Besoro, Temaate, Drobonso, Abotanso etc., were once in the history of Asante Kingdom, recognised and respected for their audacity. Their bravery knew no bounds, but surpassed the imagination of their neighbours. The inhabitants of Woraso were the most fearsome. Where has their bravery gone now, one may query? I should think as normally said of human beings that the beautiful ones are not yet born, so could the bold ones of Kumawuman be said to be have all died. They are surely lying quietly in the cemetery, or are turning in their graves.

If it was not so, how could Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, known in some overseas countries as a man with dubious character, but supposedly turned a new leaf for better, be allowed to toy with them? If it was in those days, he would not even dare meddle in Kumawu’s affairs let alone, needlessly usurping the elders, to shamelessly or fearlessly seek to impose a person of his choice as Omanhene on Kumawu. If his choice of candidate was credible, then no problem, but he is not.

He was fortunate to have a girlfriend who unfortunately happens to exercise absolute control over the entire people of Kumawuman and everything therein. Moreover, she is as ignorant, nonchalant about the welfare of her subjects and insatiably greedy as she is easily manipulated. Both have connived to impose a weakling, a puppet so to speak, on Kumawu in order to be able to voraciously appropriate to themselves the wealth of the land in detriment to the collective welfare of the people.

A lot has been said about the intentions of Asantehene, regarding his absolute determination to impose one Yaw Sarfo on Kumawu as Omanhene, in my earlier publications. Therefore, I will not repeat myself of the reasons in this article but rather entreat those that are not aware of them to go back to read my previous publications.

Today, I am asking where the learned, rich and bold ones from Kumawuman are, if any, is still alive. If they are, why are they completely silent over the deplorable action by one woman to holding the entire area down? Why are they completely hands off when the Asante Overlord, a ceremonial head by the stipulations of the re-organisation of the Asante Confederacy in 1932/5, is seeking to wrongly dominate Kumawuman all in a bid to wrongly avail himself of the wealth of the land?

I have only to cry for the needy ones in the area who though form the majority, are without choice or have no voice. The sweat of our forefathers fighting Asanteman wars and the Ataale Finam war has come to naught. Some rogues from elsewhere have rather become the beneficiaries of their sweat and toil as it is all too evident for even the physically blind to tell.

Where are you, the supposed influential sons and daughters of Kumawuman? Why are you sitting on your lap doing nothing while the heartless Asantehene bullies your compatriots into submission? Do you not care because you are self-sufficient in your own little way? Do you not care because you are Christians who are concentrating on amassing wealth in Heaven rather than on earth? Why don’t you care?

He will not have it easy suppressing the wish of God. He had better gird up his loins to have a showdown with GOD as unreasonably greedy as he is.

God should be the Supreme Judge, Jesus the Lawyer and the Holy Ghost the Witness in this Kumawu chieftaincy dispute. The named three Supreme Beings do not accept bribes and they cannot be influenced anyhow as human judges, lawyers and witnesses are.

I rest my case. I leave it to the emerging historians and journalists from Kumawuman to continue with their side of events.
