The Second Lady of the Republic of Ghana, Hajia Samira Bawumia, is currently on a nationwide tour to seek the blessings and counsel of chiefs and queen mothers as part of her campaign ahead of the 2024 elections.

The tour took her to the Oti region, where she met with the traditional leadership and the good people of various traditional authorities and towns.

She seized the opportunity to share Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia’s vision and message of hope for Ghanaians with them.

In her engagements in the region, she stressed the need to protect the gains and successes of the current administration, as well as the future of this country, with a vote for Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia on December 7.

The chiefs and people of the various communities in the Oti region expressed their excitement about the transformational vision of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia as a presidential candidate.

Equally impressed by the visit and humility of the Second Lady, the chiefs and queen mothers showered kind words on her.

The Poase Cement chief and Adontenhene of the Dodi traditional area in the Kadjebi district, Nana Amanano Mensah II, extolled the virtues and good works of the Second Lady, remarking on the instrumental role she is playing in the campaign and the massive impact it is having on the outcome of the elections.

The chief declared that the Second Lady’s role as a strong pillar for the New Patriotic Party’s presidential candidate will propel the party to victory.

“Any warrior who enjoys the support of his wife as his formidable pillar will always succeed in battle, and that’s exactly the role that you are playing perfectly well. Because of all your efforts, Dr. Bawumia will certainly be victorious in the election,” Nana Amanano Mensah II said.

In a related development, the queen mothers in the Akan constituency presented a citation to the Second Lady for her enormous contribution to the development of women and children in the country.
