Sometimes the decisions of our university graduates baffle me. the SC should have known that they will always need protection from the inky fraternity. If one takes the murder of the High Court Judges for instance it was the private media that over-hyped this issue whiles the government media kept silent over it. You see the SC is just shooting itself in the foot. This is how far our useless university education has brought us.

I liked the beginning of this article when the focus seemed to be on the punishment meted out to the recalcitrant Ken Kuranchie and the other dumb offenders. The injection of partisanship into the article made it loose its flame or relevance. I don’t understand why we can’t do anything without introducing partisan politics into the fray. I don’t think the Supreme Court was acting on behalf of the NDC. The court felt the culprits crossed the line and were subsequently punished period. Interjecting Kuranchie’s past disrespect to Mills and Mahama has no bearing in this matter.

Reading the comments to the article "Loud-Mouthed Unapologetic Ken Kuranchie Goes In", one would have expected that in a civilized democratic society regardless of the party affiliation an elected president of the country should be given the due respect which is accorded with the office. Unfortunately, since the elected presidents, Mills and Mahama was/is not his choice he had to ridicule them. For sure one can't deny the fact that the two never belong to the Political Party Ndc. In any event the decision of the SC is the best, considering the rot, indiscipline and other social and political malfunctioning of the Ghanaian society. Bravo SC judges! Long Live Ghana!!

The law on contempt should be revisited. THE SITTING JUDGE who has accused you with that charge is the accuser, prosecutor, and trial judge all at the same time. How will there be fairness in such a trial?

Nana Akua or whatever you call yourself. I am really sorry for you. I did not know where you had your education or which teacher taught you. On what grounds are you trying to take Your Tsatsu Tsikata's prision to that of our hero Ken Kuranchie. Get your dictionary and look for the real meaning of ex-convit. KURANCHIE has done nothing wrong to mother Ghana, for just saying the truth. Dr Kwame Nkrumah our father was in prision for fighting for mother Ghana likewise Kuranchie fitghting for the truth, nothing but the truth. As for your T.Tsikata, he was a more than a murderer to mother Ghana. Kuranchie's name will go into history that, he was telling the truth and was ended spending 10 days in the jail. He is a real Ghanaian as compare to the stealers.

What truth did Kuranchie said? Is it the truth of insult and disrespect? He is one of the disrespectful guys in our society and have contributed greatly to the rampant disrespectful behaviours of most young journalists and political activist. I wonder why people associated with NPP always think that they know and are better than everybody in Ghana. It serves him right.

I wonder how some people are born to be a donkey and as the saying goes leopard is always a leopard even if it changes it's skin. Kuranchie will not come out of 10 days jail and learn a lesson he will always remain a fool and arrogasnt. But it is hoped that from now onwards he will treat people with the respect they deserve. Kwashia Penin as he is.

To all those who think Ken Kuranchie did nothing wrong, you better examine yourselves. Were you expecting the justices of the supreme court to applaud him for writing what he wrote about them. Was it necessary for him to write what he wrote? Sammy Awuku apologised for his own comments and you go saying he was right and continued to publish the invectives and more. For what? Let us have some decorum in this society. And this concerns the security of the State. As one of the justices said, if he wanted to be a hero, he should be and he is just being stupid. Even in America, the home of freedom of speech, no one will do what he did and has been doing. When a military General spoke ill of the President, he was relieved of his command and booted out of the army. When a congress man made disparaging remarks about the president, he was made to apologise irrespective of which party he belongs. When Snowden (the CIA analyst) took free speech to the limit, he is a fugitive spending time in transit of Moscow airport. Why can't he go home? Why is he running away. Fact is freedom goes with responsibility. Ken Kuranchie deserved actually more than he got. he shoule have gone in for 21 days. Be it NDC or NPP, those loud mouths who think they can say anything and get away with it be warned.
