We’re not bomb throwers – Mike Ocquaye

The 'academic thief', the insignificant and the political novice is trying to re-write history by distorting the fact!. This would not work, 'Prof. Ajasco'. The Preventive Detention Act (PDA) was effected in 1958 to prevent and safeguard the people of Ghana from saboteurs and nation wreckers like your kind. It was meant for National Security not only for the bomb throwing by NLM/UP but for the violence and heinous and tribal mantra by your NLM/UP ancestors which you lot continue to uphold without seriously considering national unity. Prof. Ajasco Oquaye, what is the meaning of ' we will make the country ungovernable? Do you in your wisdom as self-acclaimed learned person think that the state should allow you to carry on with an agenda to bring the governing of the nation into disrepute?. Put your thinking cap on and display wisdom and academic jealousy instead of a selfish, narrow and irresponsible and lazy thought. You lot tend to compare Ghana/Africa to the European countries in all your discussions. Have even considered the actions taken by these countries regarding national security especially since the bombing of the Trade Centre in America and the subsequent bombings and heinous act by the late Osama Bin Laddin and his men?. Let me educate you Prof. Ajasco Oquaye. In some of these countries, the fact that one has a Muslim name simply subjects the person to surveillance and scrutiny and sometimes interrogation. A suspect can be remanded in custody, some in 'Guatamon Bey' for serious interrogations. Osagyefo Dr Kwame Nkrumah AND Parliament were absolutely right in enacting PDA to protect the nation including all citizens and not only the selfish Asantes, Akyems or Brongs. Prof. Ajasco Oquaye, because of the violent, lawlessness, indiscipline, fabrication to political assassinate, utterances to incite and creat tribal conflicts and agitations in Ghana, leading to political unrest in our communities, economic stagnation and a general deterioration of the international reputation of Ghana, I would always advocate for the return of the Preventive Detention Act 1958 -PDA at anytime.
