We’re not bomb throwers – Mike Ocquaye

The learned professor is well versed in Ghana's political history, so I would like to advise adherents of Nkrumah's ideology and others to read Ghana's political history as well as the professor's works and educate themselves accordingly. Do folks realize Nkrumah did not have a vice president? Even the modern despot, Saddam Hussain had prime ministers and deputy prime ministers. So, the professor is right, when he says, “The truth of the matter was that Nkrumah wanted all power for himself.” If Nkrumah had kept the fire of democracy the British left us burning, we won't still be in the experimental stage of democracy, there won't be, I believe the much publicized election petition issue. The reason is, we would have evolved politically, and election petitions and other shortcomings in Ghana's legal, political, economic, socicultural and other issues, would have been things of the past. With all due respect, Nkrumah set us back politically. I would like Ghanaians to put political affiliations aside, and make objective and unbiased assessment of Nkrumah as a person and his administration and be their own judges. Ghanaians shouldn't sit down for bias politicians to brainwash them, they, check up facts for yourselves.
