This problem has been going on in Ghana for some time now, and it seems there is no solution to it. In my view, as far as there is big money to be made some fraudsters will always come up. Our Ghanaian Government is part of the problem. It is too greedy! I understand the surcharge for calls from North America is $0.30 (30 cents) per minute. Note: not per call but per minute. This is big money. Can we blame the fraudsters? No! Instead of wasting money chasing these fraudsters we should rather try to make their business unprofitable by reducing the charges on the foreign calls drastically. I think we are just dealing with the symptoms and not the root of the problem. Some countries charge no or very small fees and so they don't have this kind of SIM boxing issues.
