I am personally not the biggest supporter of neither of the two biggest and dominant parties in Ghana but the way things were deteriorating in our beloved country for the past 8 years, I prayed that any party other than the NDC won the elections.
Ghana really needed a break from the clutches of the clueless NDC who took Ghanaians for granted, stole anything and everything in their path, made Ghana a beggar of alms, filled the ministries with inexperienced party bootlickers ready to tear into pieces anyone who dared to ask what they were up to.
My party... PPP didn't win but I am glad the NDC clowns wouldn't be walking the corridors of powers anymore and hopefully, 'out-of-the-world' corruption will be tamed to controllable levels, if not wiped out completely.
I came to the conclusion a long time ago that all African politicians are rotten to the core as far as corruption and mismanagement were concerned but I am also real enough to give everyone the benefit of the doubt. So for now, I will be a supporter of the incoming government for the mere fact that they saved Ghana from the clowns and thieves who masqueraded as politicians for the past 8 years...unless NPP proves that their government is no different than the that of the NDC.
Once again, I think your write-up was a good piece.
GOD BLESS GHANA!!!!

However, did UP/NPP got somebody for the thank you service to Atoa Niama or not? or they used that Fante guy who die in a hotel for the thank you service or not?

You are part of the reason why many consider the Ghanaian electorate as the most illiterate in Africa.
Any wonder why politicians take you for a ride?

Mahama did himself in, dug his own grave when he threw governance to the dogs and started globe trotting with Maame Akua Donkor, a stark Kumasi-Nkawieh Kookoase illiterate. And the straw that broke the back of the Atinga-Trokosi leaning NDC ( that is the 3-Northern regions and Trokosiland) was when Mahama turned a comedian-in-chief, instead of the commander-in-chief.that he is mandated to be, at his final campaign platform in Ohene-Gyan Sports Stadium ; he mocked Nana Addo by telling the charged crowed that Nana always slang whenever he tries to speaks the Queens language. He was captured saying " awrish-awrish-arwrish.....(nkontomire)" to the laughter of Lordina and Asiedu Nkasee.
