Expectations are high and people are not expecting these words from you as the general secretary of our dear party. Just take your time and explain matters to our supporters so they will understand the real situation. Don't speak like Kwakye Ofosu or Koku Anyidoho because you can do better than that. Think about what you've just said, and think about the implications in the minds of your ordinary supporters who have been unemployed for years and are expecting a major change in their lives. This is not good JB.

If you think strictly along party lines, the government will fail like the NDC. I do not mean the NPP govt should shun the people the worked hard to see them in power, but people must be made to understand that govt is different from party and if the govt puts up the wrong people for critical positions and later fails the Ghanaians, the party will be kicked out in the next election.
The NDC governed with possibly loyal but incompetent die-hard foot soldiers and the outcome is public knowledge. Fortunately, the NPP is blessed with overflowing competence and it is only right that they utilize this blessing.
If govt delivers, a significant majority of the people become relieved.

This is what some foot soldiers don't understand. Positions should be given based on competence, but not who contributed financially or otherwise during the electoral campaign.

I hope your party keeps that promise, not to be blackmailed by noise making party people, don't follow the footsteps of NDC that appointed many people and removed many people from power through agitations of such people including some chiefs which became a problem for the party, even some chiefs went as far as choosing a ministry for their tribesmen resulting in some of our failures.

John Boadu should be told that some of their party executives in the constituencies are working for their own interest and if care is not taken their party will do only one term.

If MMDCEs were elected, we would not get into such messy and chaotic situation as this. The Locals know their own sons and daughters best, and must be given the power to decide who gets their mandate to be their MMDCEs.
One reason why some of the MMDCEs did not perform well in their various jurisdictions was that they did not feel any pressure their local citizens were piling upon them to perform, and did not fully acknowledge the citizens as having the power to boot them out of Office. Since their appointments were made by the President, the MMDCEs felt shielded by the President. To them, only the President has the right and power to fire them.
If we were to elect them as we do the MPs, they would feel the force of the Masses to do what is right by them. They must not be seen as some extension of the President's Cabinet. Rather, they must be seen as true representatives at the local and Municipal levels who owe their power to the People, could be removed by the same.
Long Live Ghana!!!

They have already brought a serious confusion and division to ABLEKUMA SOUTH . They must learn how to talk to the voters else we will start unavailing their secrets to the media.
