Former Kotoko goalkeeper Ernest Sowah has confirmed parting ways with Kumasi Asante Kotoko on mutual grounds and he is "very excited and happy" to have been relieved with the move.
The former Berekum Chelsea stopper received his letter of mutual termination of his contract with the porcupine warriors on Friday and will return to Accra to decide what next with his family.
"I have mutually terminated my contract with Kumasi Asante Kotoko and everyone has taken it in good faith," Sowah told FOX 97.9 FM.
"I am very excited and happy for this , I have gone through a lot and am happy for this."
Sowah stated that he used to be the soft type of person but per the treatment he has been through at Kotoko at the latter stages of his contract, he is now " a man" and has learned a lot.
Ernest Sowah has been strongly linked with a move to Accra Hearts of Oak but the mercurial goalkeeper is yet to make a decision on his future, but is open to joining any club that comes with the right conditions.
"I'm open to joining any club, I have been out of active football for long and I need a club to revive myself, so am open to any club", Sowah explained.
