Instead of support intiatives

Please Nana do not do it.Tax increase is a poison to any economic revival. You have to provide incentives to those in the country who are the main Sponsors of the Economy like the Farmers, Businessmen and other Enterpreneurs so that they will work hard to boast the economy. The main Sponsors of the economy are those Cocoa Farmers in the Brong Ahafo, Ashanti, Western and Eastern Regions who must be provided with longterm with low interest loans so that they can expand their Farms by employing Farm workers to harvest their cocoa production which in most cases are left behind in the Farms for lack of workers. And most importantly, you have to increase the cocoa prices so that the Farmers do not have to carry their cocoa produce to Ivory Coast where the cocoa prices are very attractive.By doing so, there will more Cocoa Production to export which will earn Ghana additional Foreign Exchange to enable the Government to finance the projects which it has envisaged. But prices increase is not the solution.Infact,I do not understand your economic Advisers. In any country, the main Sponsors of the Economy are those whom the Government mainly takes care of
and not those who sit in Accra and just talk which does not bring any production.Germans say anybody can use the mouth to build castles. However it is the other way round. It must be worked for in a very hard way and this is done by the Cocoa Farmers whom the country must be heavily indebted to.Moreover, you want to win elections and price increase will drive your Voters away.
