Ghana forward Albert Adomah provided an assist as Aston Villa rallied back to play 2-2 draw with Brentford in the English Championship on Wednesday evening.

Villa, who have started the season in fantastic form, having picked seven points from three games.

Steve Bruce's were hoping to continue their superb home form when Brentford visited the Villa Park.

However, it was the visitors who fetched the opener in the 23rd minute through French forward Neal Maupay but Jonathan Kodjia leveled the scores for the hosts in the 39th minute with a fine finish after connecting beautifully to Albert Adomah's sleek pass.

Aston Villa were pegged back again courtesy Neal Maupay's 82nd minute strike but Villa rallied back to snatch a draw following Jonathan Kodjia's last-gasp equalizer.

Adomah lasted 70 minutes as he was replaced with Andre Green.

He has been left out of the Black Stars 18-man squad for next month's 2019 African Cup of Nations qualifier against the Harambee Stars of Kenya despite his fine start to the campaign.
