Yvonne Quarcoo claims the use of SOD in Bawumia's tweet was spelt incorrectly
A new name, Yvonne Quarcoo has been added to the list of Ghana’s famous Twitter names over tweets that generate controversy.
The above named lady, whose account has since disappeared from Twitter was abused by Ghanaians when she sought to correct something she thought was a mistake in a tweet by Vice President Dr Mahamudu Bawumia’s Twitter handle.
She mixed up the words ‘sod and sword’ and also pluralized the Vice President with a possessive apostrophe, which were by themselves mistakes.
Following a huge backlash, Yvonne Quarcoo later said it was an experiment she was ‘doing’, which further made trolls pursue her.
She has since ‘disappeared’ from online.
