The National Communications Authority (NCA) has shut down another radio station, Silver FM in Takoradi in the Western Region over failure to renew its expired authorization.
The action comes just a day after the NCA closed down Radio Gold and Radio XYZ in Accra for the same offence.
According to the Managers of Silver FM, they received a phone call from the Western Regional office of the NCA ordering them to shut down, to which they complied.
The NCA hinted of more shut downs after taking action against Radio Gold and Radio XYZ.
