Asamoah Gyan feels betrayed by Ghana coach Kwesi A

All teams have general captains and match-day or tournament captains. Thiago Silva was the general captain for Brazil while Neymar was leading the team on match days. After Stephen Appiah, Michael Essien should have been the captain with John Mensah but Kwesi Appiah chose to give Gyan the captain's band so when it is now his turn to become the general captain for another player to lead the team on the field, he should have accepted it in good faith.
This is selfish behaviour; he just does not want Dede or anybody else to be captain that is why he has his own personal and customized arm-band. He assumed should Ghana win the cup in Egypt, he should be the one to lift it and not anyone else.
Since he became captain, the national team has known no peace and unity despite his performance for the team. He failed to unify the team in Brazil and might have teamed up against Kwarasey in favour of Fataw Dauda.
His personal life has also not helped the team, for example his sexual escapades with Miss Sarah Kwablah and the most recent paternity issues surrounding his children. These are rather concrete grounds and evidences upon which he should have been stripped of the captainship but he has kept that position till now so if he decides to quit, I think he should be allowed to go, who knows, this can be a blessing in disguise because to me he has never been a lucky captain for the Black Stars. He has done for the Black Stars what even Tony Yeboah and Abedi Pele could not do!
