Coronavirus: Ghanaian World War II veteran raises

In deed an encouraging and inspiring enterprise. I hope the high command of the Ghana Armed Forces [GAF] is watching this positive action of ex- Private Hammond.

The writer of the story mentioned Captain [ rtd.]Tom Moore, the former British Army officer who first undertook a similar walk. For his proactive undertaking to raise funds to help the National Healrh Service in the UK, the British Army hoourably appointed Captain Moore to the rank of a Colonel.

For pursuing such a worthy cause is it too much to honour good old Pte. Hammond with an elevation from his Private rank? Is the GAF watching?
