Asempa FM's Kobby Stonne lauded as one of the best commentators in Ghana

Multimedia Sports journalist and commentator Alex Kobina Stonne has received a massive endorsement from seasoned sports journalist Kofi Asare Brako "Abatey" following an impressive AFCON commentary.

In an interview on Accra FM’s Nkran Kwanso show, on Friday, Abatey lauded Kobby Stone as one of the best commentators on the local scene.

Asked by host Docta Kay, to name his top three football commentators in the country, Abatey mentioned Kobby Stone in the company of Dan Kwaku Yeboah and Collins Asante Acoustic.

“Dan Kwaku Yeboah of Peace FM sits top of my list, followed by Fox FM’s Collins Asante Acoustic and Kobby Stone from Asempa FM,” Abatey said.

This endorsement comes to confirm Kobby indeed deserved Foklex Media’s sports commentator of the year award for Greater Accra.

Kobby Stone has been on the rise since joining the Multimedia Group Limited in 2017.

He has wealth of experience in sports journalism, having covered numerous tournaments including Africa Cup of Nations.
