Ayew to miss Bordeaux clash

French Ligue 1 leaders Olympique Marseille will miss their influentiual Ghanaian midfielder Andre Ayew when they face Bordeaux in a top-of-the-table clash against at home tomorrow. Ayew has been ruled out of action for the next two weeks with a thigh injury sustained last Saturday when he captained Ghana against Uganda in Kampala.

Marseille coach Marcelo Bielsa must wait with second placed Paris Saint-Germain in position to move top of the table last night with a trip to ninth-placed Metz.

Lille's home match against Evian has been postponed until January 7 because of France facing Switzerland in the tennis Davis Cup final this weekend.
