The BabyJet tournament is getting more exciting
After four days competitive and exciting matches, the stage is set for the last sixteen round of the second edition of the BabyJet under-16 tournament.
When the pulsating group stage ended at the Asamoah Gyan Sports Complex on Saturday, favourites Attram De Visser, Cheetah FC, Great Somas and thirteen other clubs progressed to the next round.
With the ‘men separated from the boys’ the excitement and patronage of the tournament is set to switch to another gear with a match between Great Somas and Ofori Academy being the first of the second round.
Other exciting ties to look forward to are the games between Cheetah FC and Dawu Stars, Attram Visser versus Inspired Talents and Anokye Stars against DSR Academy.
Ashfoam moment
Organizers and teams participating in the tournament on Saturday marked the AshfoamMoment.
The short event was aimed at appreciating the contributions of Ashfoam to the competition.
Clad in colours of Ashfoam, some national stars including Asamoah Gyan and his elder brother Baffour inspired the young players with their stories and also thanked Ashfoam for the support.
While calling for more support from corporate agencies, Asamoah Gyan expressed gratitude to Ashfoam for their support.
