Best and worst of Ghanaians players abroad

Bad: Kasim Adams - Upon the return of the German Bundesliga side from Christmas and New Year break, the centre-back only warmed the bench as Hoffenheim lost 3-1 to reigning champions Bayern Munich on Friday. Good: Nicholas Opoku - After two straight appearances for Udinese before the Christmas and New Year break, the centre-back continued from where he left it as he was handed a starting role in Sunday's clash with Parma in the Italian Serie A. He lasted for the entire duration of the game, but was unable to save his side from a 2-1 home defeat. The 21-year-old now has seven league appearances to his name at Udinese, whom he joined last summer.

Good: Caleb Ekuban - The striker took his goal tally in the Turkish Super Lig to four on Sunday as he fetched one of Trabzonspor's consolations in a 4-2 home defeat to Istanbul Basaksehir. More pleasing was the fact that he scored to redeem himself after earlier putting a ball into his own net.
