The locally based Black Stars have been drawn to play their counterparts from Burkina Faso for a place in the 2020 Africa Championship of Nations (CHAN).
With the qualifiers set to begin this year, Ghana would have to battle past their neighbours in Western Zone B of the Confederation of African Football (Caf).
Three nations are set to qualify from the Zone.
The tournament is scheduled to take place in Ethiopia in January/February, 2020.
Ghana will seek to be one of the 15 teams to qualify for the tournament from the various zones.
Morocco hosted and won the last edition, which was originally scheduled to be hosted by Kenya. The East Africans were stripped of the rights due to inadequate preparations.
The Atlas Lions will play Algeria for a place in next year’s edition.
Ghana were runners-up in the first edition played in 2009 in Ivory Coast.
