Coach Konadu delighted at local Stars

Maxwell Konadu, head coach of the local Black Stars, has praised players in his newly constituted team for their discipline and dedication to duty.

He urged them to continue to observe the team’s disciplinary code and put themselves in readiness

He has also tasked them to maintain their focus as they leave for their various clubs in the league.

“ As you go from camp, be conscious about our disciplinary codes, so that by the time we resume you will still be in shape,” he told the players.

The local Stars have been in camp for the past two months preparing ahead of a crucial qualifier against Cote d’Ivoire in October and the COSAFA Cup in South Africa next month.

Speaking to the Graphic Sports later, Coach Konadu expressed his delight at the condition and readiness of the players for the task ahead, hoping to use the COSAFA Cup experience to get the necessary exposure.

Last Tuesday, the team beat Division One League side 2-1 in a friendly encounter at the Obuasi Len Clay Stadium.
