Daniel Amartey apologises for red card

Daniel Amartey has apologized to his teammates and coaches at FC Copenhagen for his early sending off in the side's 1-1 drawn game with with Nordsjaelland in the Danish Superliga on Sunday.

The Ghana international defender was shown a straight red card in the 28 minutes after a horrific tackle on Nordsjaelland Brazilian attacker Bruninho.

He has noted his mistake and has rightfully apologized on twitter: "Lessons learned from mistakes! my apologies to all that were offended. Let's Move on!

The 21-year-old will hence miss his side’s League games against Midtjylland and AGF respectively.
