Asante Kotoko have been boosted by the return of defender Daniel Darkwah from a long injury lay off.
The former Aduana Stars defender has been out since undergoing a surgery on his shoulder, which left out of the teams participating in the CAF Confederations Cup.
The 26-year-old returned to action in the Porcupine Warriors friendly encounter with Division One side Storm FC on Sunday.
Darkwah is part of the registered players for the Confederations Cup and could travel with the team when they leave for Sudan in the first group game against Al Hilal.
In his absence, Abass Mohammed has been coach C.K Akunor's preferred option.
Asante Kotoko are in group C alongside Nkana FC, Zesco United and Al Hilal.
