Hearts of Oak legend Bernard Don Bortey says the club must emulate what Asante Kotoko is doing by bringing the ex-players close to the club.
According to Don Bortey, former players of the club can played influential roles in helping the team revive its fortunes.
“Hearts of Oak should have done what Kotoko SC is doing now because the club was established for the people, you have legends who won laurels for the club. They have what it takes to inculcate into players,” he told Otec FM.
“In my playing days, I met Osei Kuffour who really had impact in my career, so is the arrival of Daniel Nii Adjei at Kotoko SC, it will have positives passed to the young ones since he has a lot of career recognition to show”, he added.
“Hearts of Oak should give chance to their legends who are active in Football to help the current crop of players”.
