Ghana Premier League side Dreams FC, on Friday, visited the Khulafa Rashideen Mosque at Maamobi in Accra to seek spiritual support ahead of the new season.

Led by the Vice President of the club Prince Abdul Hamid, the model Ghana Premier League side joined the congregation for the Jum’a Prayers at the mosque.

The non-Muslim players waited while the usual Jum’a worship went on.

Malam Addo, the Chief Imam of the Khulafa Rashideen applauded the side for their commitment to God and prayed for a successful season for the club after the congregational prayers.

He advised the playing body to be steadfast in all their activities and hold on to discipline and handwork to achieve their goals.

“Hard work and discipline are the key notes for every footballer. With these two attributes, you will achieve your targets,” Malam Addo said.

He applauded the technical and management teams for how far they’ve brought the club and assured them of more successes to come.

Showing gratitude to Malam Addo for his spiritual support and prayers, Alhaji Cliff – a ranking member of the Dreams FC family, thanked the man of God and called for his guidance and directions.

Other members of the delegation included the head coach of the side Juha Pasoja as well as Football Director Alhaji Ibrahim, Administrative Manager Amenu Shardow.

The team will visit the Church on Sunday for the same purpose to usher themselves into a blissful season.
