UD Levante forward Emmanuel Boateng is expected to make a swift injury recovery ahead of Monday's La Liga clash against Deportivo Alaves.
Boateng's name was conspicuously missing the Frogs 18-man squad for their goalless draw with Getafe last week. The decision to omit the Ghanaian's name form the squad list was however not technical, but due to some discomfort in his right knee.
The injury was not the first setback the striker has suffered in the current campaign as he missed Paco Lopez side's encounter against Real Betis and Celta Vigo.
Tough there is a sense of worry amongst the club's fans, sources close to the club suggest that he is expected to join his colleagues in training later this week to prepare for the Alaves clash as they aim to upset the hosts at the Mendizorroza.
Boateng has had a somewhat disappointing campaign after hitting just once in 19 appearances in all competitions for the side, unlike last term where he managed to finish the season with 6 goals in 22 games.
