Ghana Premier League giants Asante Kotoko are set to confirm Felix Annan as the club's new captain following the departure of Amos Frimpong ahead of next season.
Annan, 24 has been serving as the club's deputy skipper for the past three seasons and has been a key cog for the club since joining them from WAFA.Footballghana.com understands that the Black Stars shot-stopper will be appointed for the vacant role after Amos Frimpong left to join Guinean club AS Kaloum Stars.
He has established himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the Ghana Premier League following his scintillating performance for the past seasons.
He joined the Porcupine Warriors from Feyenoord Academy (now West African Football Academy) in 2014.
He was a member of the Black Stars squad that represented Ghana at the just ended 2019 Africa Cup of Nations held in Egypt where they eliminated the round of 16 by Tunisia on penalties.
