Happy FM, Ghana’s Number One Sports station has opened registration for the 2nd edition of the Happy FM Corporate Knockout Challenge.
The Corporate Knockout Challenge is an inter-organizational football gala competition aimed at bringing together teams of corporate institutions to network, compete through fun-filled sports and provide a platform for staff motivation as well as promoting their total wellbeing.
Over 32 corporate football teams are expected to register and battle it out in a soccer Knockout competition and win prizes ranging from trophies, medals, souvenirs and an ultimate cash prize of GHS 3,000 on October 7 at the Lizzy Sports Complex, East Legon.
Speaking about the Happy FM Corporate Knockout Challenge, Emmanuel Akrumah, Programs Manager at Happy FM said each company is required to pay an amount of GHS 500 as registration to be part of this competition.
“Happy FM Corporate Knockout Challenge is in its second year. Last year we had a great event but this year we expect a much more bigger event. Happy FM uses sports to bring together people in the corporate field to relive their sporting days and showcase their athletic and cheerleading talents,” Mr. Akrumah said.
He urged all corporate institutions to be part of this great initiative.
It gives an excellent opportunity to those who want to be on the sidelines to cheer on their colleagues and showcase their cheerleading and ‘’ Jama’’ prowess as they cheer on their favourite teams to victory.
The maiden edition saw corporate organizations like Data Bank, Tema Steel, KPMG, Expert Consult, Diamond Capital , GIMPA, Multichoice and a host of other organizations with Karl Brown emerging as winners.
