Thomas Agyepong has been ruled out of Saturday’s game against Cameroon in an injury, the Ghana Football Association have confirmed.
The Hibernian winger sustained an injury in Ghana’s 2-2 draw with Benin and was replaced by Samuel Owusu.
The 23-year-old was expected to make a quick recovery for Saturday’s clash against Cameroon, however, after an assessment by the medical team, the former Ghana U23 skipper has been excluded from the game.
Agyepong was initially reported to have passed fit for the game however latest development indicates he will not be able to feature in the game.
Samuel Owusu and Kojo Asamoah remain options for Coach Kwesi Appiah at the left-wing role.
