Ghana is the only team to have all players passed the mandatory MRI test in Niger ahead of the start of the WAFU Zone B U17 tournament.

The Black Starlets were the only team to have a successful exercise.

Benin have been expelled from the tournament after more than half of its players failed the test.

This means only six teams will compete in the tournament.

Ghana's Group A opponents Niger and Togo had a player each fail the age-eligibility test.

Nigeria and Ivory Coast have their squad whittled after two players failed the test and have been sent home.

Group B opponent Burkina Faso had one player ejected from the squad.

The winner of the tournament will represent the zone at the African U17 Cup of Nations to be hosted by Tanzania.
