The Black Stars plan to play two pre-2019 Africa Cup of Nations friendlies, Ghana FA Normalization Committee chairman Dr Kofi Amoah has confirmed.
The two matches will give coach Kwesi Appiah an opportunity to fine-tune his squad while rehearsing his tactics for the tournament in June.
Dr. Kofi Amoah also disclosed Dubai as the destination for the team’s camping base.
The Black Stars will face Cameroon, Benin and Guinea-Bissau at the tournament in Egypt during the Group phase.
“He [Kwesi Appiah] has the total support of the president. We are camping in Dubai, where we will play two friendly matches. After that, we will march to Egypt for the tournament and I can say on authority that the Black Stars will reside in the best hotels in Egypt,” Amoah said on Good Evening Ghana.
