Alfred Duncan
Ghana international Alfred Duncan has been ruled out of US Sassuolo's Coppa Italia clash against Spezia Calcio due to injury.
The 26-year-old is expected to miss the clash on Sunday at the Mapei Stadium in the third round of the Italian Cup after suffering an injury.
The medical staff are trying to get Duncan fit for the league opener against Torino which is scheduled for August 25, at the Olympic Stadium.
However, manager Roberto De Zerbi will have to do without the services of the former AC Milan transfer target.
Duncan represented Ghana at the 2013 FIFA U-20 World Cup in Turkey playing four games during it. He made his full international debut on November 14, 2012, against Cape Verde.
He has previously played for Inter Milan, Livorno and Sampdoria
