In-form Ghanaian striker Caleb Ekuban admits he made the right decision to join Trabzonspor on loan from Leeds United.
The 24-year-old has been revived since he joined the Turkish despite early turbulence in the European country.
The former Partizan striker has netted three goals in 12 matches in the Super Lig this season, better than what he managed at Elland Road.
The Ghanaian joined Leeds United amid high expectations following his sublime performance in Albania.
But injuries conspired against the striker in England, frustrating his time at United.
Leeds were forced to send him on loan to Turkey on a season long loan and the striker thinks he made the right decision.
“The decision I made was the correct one”, Ekuban was quoted as saying by Turkish daily Sabah.
“I'm greatly valued at Trabzonspor.
“My [loan] contract ends at the end of the season, but the club do not want me to go.
“It's really good that I came to Trabzon.”
Trabzonspor are currently second in the Turkish league and are six points behind league leaders Basaksehir.
