Asante Kotoko pair Jordan Opoku and Augustine Okrah are set to miss their CAF Champions League return leg tie against Kano Pillars at the Baba Yara Stadium in Kumasi.
According to reports in the local media, Opoku and Okrah have been ruled out of the crucial game due to a hitch in their registration.
The duo was left out of their 18-man squad that travelled for the first leg tie after the club announced that their registration couldn't go through.
Footballghana.com understands that the CAF had told the Reds that the two players will be available for selection in the next round of the CAF Champions League.
Opoku is the most experienced player in the Coach Kjetil Zachariassen with the number of years spent at the club.
On the other hand, Okrah joined the club on a two-year deal last month on a free transfer. He won Ghana Premier League top scorer award with 16 goals before leaving to play in Sudan with Al Merrikh and Al Hilal.
The Porcupine Warriors will welcome Kano Pillars to Kumasi on August 25 after losing 3-2 in the first leg encounter in Nigeria.
